WJPS Christmas Meal

On the 13th of December, the WJPS team had our Christmas meal and activity afternoon.

Last year we had a platter from The Sprouted Kitchen on The Bridge, and it was so nice that we did the same again this year, consisting of sandwiches, an array of salads, sausage rolls and some delicious vegan options, including some rainbow wraps.

After our lunch, we got into teams to do a quiz that James had created. There were three rounds, the first being general knowledge, the second was questions about Bedale and its history, and lastly a round about WJPS. After Steven and Bee held the lead for the first two round, they were overtaken by Jo and Toby on the last round, who won by 3 points!

Following the quiz we began building and decorating Gingerbread Houses. We swapped teams, so Toby and Bee went against Steven and Jo. We had 30 minutes to build, ice and decorate our houses, which James would judge afterwards. After a valiant effort by both teams, James decided that it was a draw. Unfortunately, due to some structural difficulties, Steven and Jo's Gingerbread house was broken in transit which, of course, left Bee and Toby as the winners!
