Stockton Quality Control Laboratory purchase Error Reporting System

National Error Reporting SystemStockton Quality Control Laboratory, based at North Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has recently purchased WJP Software Ltd.’s Error Reporting System.

The web-based system allows clients to collect data via a dedicated website. The software automatically collates and trends the data. Reports currently generated by the system include:

  • Factors leading to errors
  • Licensed status
  • Product category
  • Potential outcome
  • Error type
  • Severity
  • Unit errors

Alongside this, the system will automatically provide a 12-month percentage failure rate showing the national number of products made Vs the number of failures.

James Proctor, Managing Director of WJP Software Limited said ‘the Error Reporting System is a relatively new software which was developed for pharmacy labs and we are pleased that Stockton Quality Control Laboratory has chosen to purchase it. It further strengthens our relationship with the Lab now who holds a suite of software developed by the team including our Microbiological Reporting System and the Web Reporting System.
